The experimental group underwent emotion-focused treatment (10 sessions of 90 minutes); But the control group did not receive any treatment. The analysis of the information obtained from the questionnaires was performed through SPSS-v22 software in two descriptive and inferential sections (analysis of covariance). The results showed that the results showed that emotion-oriented therapy is effective on "anxiety and insomnia", "social dysfunction" and "depression" of women affected by infidelity, while in terms of "physical symptoms" There was no difference between the groups. The results also showed that emotion-oriented treatment is effective on "resilience" of women affected by infidelity.
