In the present age, divorce and damage caused by divorce is considered one of the serious problems in associated with family and community health. The main object of current study is to investigate the relationship between marital adjustments and coping strategies with family cohesion in a sample of women teacher. The research method is correlation, and 120 women teachers were selected through a random cluster sampling method, and the following measures were administered on them: Endler and Parker Coping Inventory for Stress full Situations (1990), Busby Revised Dyadic Adjustment Scale (1995) and Fischer Family Organized Cohesiveness Scale (1992). Data’s were analyzed by SPSS.Ver.18. Results showed by discribtive ststistic, Pearson's correlation test and multivariate regression. Research results showed that there were significant positive relationships between family cohesion with problem-oriented strategies (r=0.40) and marital adjustment (r=0.62), (P>0.01). There were significant positive relationships between problem- oriented strategies and marital adjustment (r=0.36), (P>0.01). Based on the results of a multi-variable regression analysis, problem-oriented strategies and marital adjustment explained 0.42 of the variance in family cohesion. The results of present study support the importance of coping strategies and marital adjustment in family cohesion to prevention of divorce among women teacher. Accordingly recommend teaching the predictor variables to prominent family cohesion.
