Measuring the impact of competitive advantage in sports and youth

Abstract :
The purpose of this research was to investigate and analyze the competitive advantage in the Ministry of Sports and Youth. The research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-correlational in nature, using structural equation modeling, which was carried out by survey method. The statistical sample of this research consisted of all employees of the Ministry of Sports and Youth (N=965). 286 employees of the Ministry of Sports and Youth using the accessible sampling method of organizational culture scales by Denison (2000), social capital Nahapit and Ghoshal (1999), knowledge management by Hemti (2009), organizational learning by Gomes et al. (2005), innovation James et al.'s (2008) organizational and Hill and Jones (2010) competitive advantage. The content validity of the measurement tool was evaluated and confirmed using the opinion of sports management experts (7 people), reliability using Cronbach's alpha coefficient (α = 0.78) and construct validity using confirmatory factor analysis. SPSS and PLS software were used to check and analyze the data. The findings of the research showed that organizational culture and social capital have a positive and significant effect on knowledge management. Examining the proposed research model also had a favorable fit (GOF=0.56) in the target society. The general result of the research showed that the current model can be used as a benchmark for the managers of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, so that they can gain a competitive advantage over other organizations.
