Abstract :
Discovering and developing sports talents in the sports of veterans and the disabled is one of the main factors in the success of gaining world and Paralympic positions. The purpose of this study was to design an optimal model of talent management in the sport of karate in veterans and the disabled of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This research is based on a descriptive-survey method and based on the objectives of the applied research. The statistical population included athletes, managers, talent scouts, referees and coaches in the sport of karate in veterans and the disabled, from which 200 people were purposefully selected. The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire with five dimensions and 55 questions. To evaluate the content validity of the questionnaire in a quantitative manner, two relative coefficients of content validity and content validity index were used. To determine the relative coefficient of content validity, the opinions of 9 karate experts in the sport of karate in veterans and the disabled were used. And its reliability was obtained through Cronbach's alpha. To check the fit of the conceptual model, the structural equation model was used using SPSS software version 25 and R version 1.6.3 of Simplot and lava and packages. The results showed that the dimensions of talent management have a significant factor load, but the order of effect of these dimensions in the formation of talent management is different.
