Abstract :
One of the characteristics of contemporary interpretations is the adoption of a political-social approach, which looks at all the verses of the Quran from the perspective of proposing and solving social problems and problems of human societies, and its purpose is to present social problems to the Quran and find solutions and cure them, and to lead societies. It is towards transformation and progress. This article has analyzed the characteristics of Mohammad Javad Mughniyeh's socio-political approach in Tafsir al-Kashif with the descriptive-analytical method of library sources. The results of the study show that Mughniyeh's main concern in the interpretation of the Holy Quran was to manifest the divine word in the text of human life, and he sought systematic and efficient solutions for the new issues and questions of human life, in accordance with the objective realities of social life, from the Quran. . Having an approximate thought, confronting America's colonial policies, encouraging struggle, supporting freedom seekers, anti-Westernism, fighting against Zionism, and paying attention to public surveillance are among the indicators of his social political approach, which is examined in this article
