Abstract :
Purpose: The general aim of this research is to examine the effectiveness of Knowledge management on innovation in the university. Method: Research method is descriptive. The population of employees and managers of public universities in Tehran. 10universities were selected in Tehran. A questionnaire survey was distributed to 364 respondents. Results: Results showed that the dimensions of the Knowledge management (Information technology, organizational structure and Organizational Culture) and innovation (Technical and Administrative) in public universities in Tehran is lower than average. The results show a significant relationship between the dimensions of Knowledge management and innovation. Between dimensions of the Knowledge management " Organizational Culture " more predictive power in improving innovation in the public universities in Tehran.
