Abstract :
The most important river in the city of pardis at the east of Tehran , is Jajrood . In this research 16 samples of sediment of this river were studied that collected in early July (2018). These samples were analyzed to determine the concentration of Fe , Cr , Cd , Zn , Pb , Cu , Co , Hg , As and Mn elements with TCP method for heavy metals. The Jajrood River sediments are contaminated with Zinc, lead and at some stations to copper and manganese and Cadmium. The possible source of copper and lead elements is the discharge of construction waste and road construction, agricultural and horticultural activities, residential areas and industry activity near the river. The increase in manganese concentration at Sanjrian station is due to human activities, including agriculture, horticulture and residential areas near the river. Conclusion the principal component is consistent with the results of cluster analysis. Based on statistical analysis, it can be said that iron, cobalt, chromium and zinc have the same source (Lithogenic). This article also discusses cadmium and arsenic as a common source (Anthropogenic) and also provides a separate source (Anthropogenic) for lead.
