Abstract :
Paying attention to philosophy-oriented curriculum as an integral part of improving public thinking skills is growing worldwide. Due to the positive effects of Philosophy-oriented curriculum, this study was conducted to evaluate the impact of Philosophy-oriented curriculum on children ' thinking skills based on Islamic teachings. In this quasi-experimental study Fifth grade students at Shahreza were randomly selected and then divided into control and case groups, each group contained 56 members. Data gathering device was researcher-made questionnaire on action-seeking thinking and data was analyzed by SPSS- 18. The findings of this study indicated that philosophy-oriented curriculum causes significant improvement in the children' thinking skills (Detect, change and evaluate the issue) philosophy-oriented curriculum is effective in improving the quality of thinking skills of children so it canbe considered as a useful measure in this field.
