Abstract :
Abstract: This study has been designed to investigate the effectiveness of non-formal curriculum (extracurricular activities) on social skills of educators (students who work as a teacher after graduating) at Farhangian University- Mazandaran branch. The outline of the study was a quasi-experimental design with pre-post test with a control group. Multi-stage cluster sampling method has been also used and number of samples in the study was 30 people. Data were collected by questionnaire Matson social skills (1983) . The data has been analyzed using statistical software SPSS-20 and analysis of covariance has been performed. Analysis of the data after the implementation of non-formal curriculum (extracurricular activities) showed that after controlling the initial differences in pre-testa there is a significant difference between the average scores of pre and post tests of the test group for the social skills (P<0.001). In other words, the provision of non-formal curriculum or extracurricular activities is effective in increasing appropriate social skills of the students.
