Common political-security paradigms of Russia and the Islamic Republic of Iran in the face of terrorism and fundamentalism in the Middle East region

Abstract :
Based on this, the question is raised, how has the issue of terrorism and fundamentalism strengthened the cooperation between Russia and Iran? The hypothesis based on which the research was written is that the two countries' common goals in confronting fundamentalism have increased the level of cooperation and caused a transformation in Tehran-Moscow relations. In this regard, the purpose of the article; Analyzing the political-security approaches and the level of cooperation between the two countries in dealing with fundamentalism and terrorism; The important results of the research show that although the level of cooperation has been improved; However, the complexity of factors and realistic global and regional structural approaches have hindered the special strategic link between the two countries. In this regard, the present research investigates and analyzes the relationships of the aforementioned data by collecting the necessary data through library and internet data and using a descriptive-analytical method.
