Abstract :
This study aims to investigate the relationship between emotional intelligence and the life quality of staff at JondiShahpour University in Ahvaz. 245 out of 827 employees were selected as the sample of the study, using random clustering. The study used descriptive-survey and the data were collected using Shering's IE questionnaire based on Golaman's model(1995) and Karry Walton's life quality questionnaire , with reliability of 0/89 and 0/92 respectively. The statistical methods were of Pearson correlation and variance analysis. The findings showed that there is s positive significant relationship between emotional intelligence and staff's life quality. The Variance analysis results showed no significant difference regarding the effect of gender, age, education, and employment type on emotional intelligence. However, the results showed the effect of gender, age and work experience on the life quality.
