Abstract :
The aim of this research is to study ''the role of job redesign in employee empowerment and commitment in public companies of Guilan''. The research has been conducted by descriptive method. Out of 6863 employees in the public companies of Guilan, 345 employees were selected, using judgment sampling and according to Morgan’s chart. The tools for data collection is standard questionnaires, that have validity and for reliability, the coefficient of Cronbach’s alpha has been used. The collected data from statistical sample has been analyzed by LISREL software. In order to analyze data, The T-value test was used. The result of T-value test show that there is a positive and meaningful relation between the following variables: job redesign and commitment, job redesign and employee empowerment, and employee empowerment and commitment.
