Structural Equation Modeling of University Organizational Agility with an Emphasis on the Role of Organizational Culture and Knowledge Management

Abstract :
This research aimed to investigate the effect of organizational culture and knowledge management on organizational agility of Mazandaran Islamic University. The adopted research approach was descriptive, and the correlation research design was based on Structural Equation Modeling. The statistical population chosen included 1684 faculty in Mazandaran Islamic Azad Universities. The sample included 270 persons who were selected based on Cochran formula. In addition, stratified random sampling was employed in accordance with the size of each University branch under study. The collected data was analyzed by Structural Equations Modeling using SPSS20 and LISREL 8.5. The result showed that knowledge management and organizational culture directly influence knowledge management. Moreover, it is confirmed that knowledge management plays the mediating role between organizational culture and organizational agility. The result of this research puts a great emphasis on creating a proper and effective organizational culture by providing a suitable environment conducive to knowledge sharing and support of knowledge-centered activities.
