The relationship between personality traits and intrinsic motivation and self-efficacy faculty members (SID)

Abstract :
The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between five factors of personality and intrinsic motivation, self-efficacy and self-efficacy also forecast was based on two variables. This descriptive study was conducted with a cross. The study population included all faculty members of the University Jihad (about 600 people) and the sample based on the sample of 234 people was estimated to be 95%. FrmHa were distributed among all members and in different ways, and ultimately 245 people participated in the study, which is 32.1 percent female and 67.9 percent male-formed. Big Five Personality tool for gathering data (short form), log Mabayl job preferences and general self-efficacy questionnaire was used Scherer. Results showed that personality dimensions and intrinsic motivation, general self-efficacy had a relationship. Self-negative and significant relationship between neuroticism and relationship with other personality characteristics (extroversion, flexibility, adaptability and responsibility) and intrinsic motivation to be positive and significant. Simultaneous multiple regression indicates a relatively strong correlation between independent variables and the dependent variable. And found that 51.8 percent of the efficacy of these covariates addressing. The findings of this study the relationship between personality and intrinsic motivation, self-efficacy and self-efficacy based on these two variables confirmed the possibility to predict the screw.
