Study of the Relationship between managers and empowering them in the third district of Azad University

Abstract :
This study investigated relation between features of managers and their empowerment in Islamic Azad Universities, Region 3. This was descriptive research, kind of survey and Its population was consisting of unit's directors and deputes ,college's directors and deputes, managers of group, managers and college's officials(administrative ,educational and research officers) in Islamic Azad Universities , Region 3 in 2011-2012 which include N = 750. Sample is chosen based on Cochran formula including 253 people. Stratified sampling was used randomly. For collecting data, library and field methods are applied. In field way, responses closed questionnaire with 100 Statements was adjusted in 5-level Likert scale which measure components and features of manager's empowerment. Collected data was classified in SPSS and confidence coefficient was calculated by Cronbach Alpha method ( 0/96). The effective factors for managers empowerment of academic units in four dimensions, structural, managerial, motivational and participatory identification and the load factor was determined. Research findings showed that Empowerment dimensions of women and men and the different educated persons in the managers is the same. Empowerment dimensions of the different units in the managers is the same. There is no significant relationship between age and experience and managers Empowerment.
