Investigate the relationship between religiosity and marital adjustment in Social Security organization employees of Tabriz

Abstract :

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between religiosity and marital adjustment in Social Security organization employees of Tabriz.This study is   Practical, From the perspective of the Method of the study is descriptive and data collection were Fieldwork.The study population, consisted of all Social Security organization employees in Tabriz, their number is 450 subjects. The sample size was 207 that estimated using Cochran formula then members were selected randomly. For data collection two questionnaire were used: Graham B. Spanier marital adjustment (DAS) questionnaire and Self-made Of religiosity questionnaires with the acceptable reliability and validity. For statistical analysis we used Spearman correlation tests. Results were obtained Suggests between religiosity and marital adjustment was a Positive relationship. Traditional, research and religion-seekers types of religiosity were positively associated with marital adjustment. There was no significant relationship between religion elusive with marital adjustment. Between indifferent and irreligion types of religiosity with marital adjustment there was a significant inverse relationship.
