Abstract :
The present study attempts to deal with the developments originated from the process of globalization in the domains related to culture and political culture in the Islamic Republic of Iran and also to indicate how this process led to generalism and particularism in the political culture of the Islamic Republic of Iran. According to the findings of this study the process of globalization towards the cultural issues resulted in the global and general orientation; however, considering the religious interpretations and patterns in the Islamic republic of Iran a particular orientation has come into existence in the domain of political culture. Consequently a distinct particularism (for example religious democracy, Islamic human rights and Islamic civil society) has been formed.
