Abstract :
The civilization and culture of ancient Iran, as a basic and basic part of the national identity of Iranians, plays an important role in the coherence of the collective identity and national unity of the Iranian society. From this point of view, it is important and necessary to introduce and inform about its various aspects to young generations, especially students. In this article, an attempt is made to answer this main question with a descriptive-analytical method; What are the ancient civilizations and cultures of Iran taught to students in the fourth grade social studies book? The findings of this study show that the elements of Iran's ancient civilization include; Ancient Iranian empires, Aryan race, Zoroastrian religion, the land of Iran, the ancient nation of Iran, kings and national heroes, the progress and progress of ancient civilization, Iranian art and architecture; Students are taught with a constructive, positive approach along with institutionalizing the beliefs of Iranism and instilling a sense of patriotism.
