The role of Gilan newspapers and magazines in shaping public opinion in the period 1320-1332

Abstract :
Newspapers and magazines in Gilan province during the constitutional period and after that have played a significant role in shaping public opinion, promoting it and improving freedom. This shaping of public opinion can be seen in the role that Gilan province had in the rebellion of Mirza Kochuk Khan Jangli and the nationalization movement of the oil industry. The publication of nearly two hundred publications from the beginning of constitutionalism to the revolution of 1957 and after that the publication of hundreds of newspapers, weekly, monthly, etc. from the beginning of the revolution until now is one of the great privileges that includes the current state of Gilan province. Because from that time until today, the most important political, social, cultural, artistic, etc. events that took place in Gilan have been recorded in them, which is actually a source and source of reference for researchers and writers for generations. It is next. Yaral Kalam is considered the first publication of Gilan. In 1325, seven newspapers were established in Rasht, two in Lahijan and one in Bandar Anzali. By the end of the Qajar period, about seventy publications were published in Gilan, including Gilan, Nub-e-Basher, Rahkhayal, Sede Rasht, Sahil Nejat, Badr Munir, and Mobad. During this period, several satirical magazines were published in Rasht, the most famous of which was Nasim Shamal. One of the most important publications of Gilan was Jangal, which was published in 1335 by Mujahidan Jangal in Kasma.
