Measuring the Technical Efficiency of Canola Farmers and Determining the Effective Factors in Tabriz County, Iran

چکیده مقاله :
The purpose of this study was to measure the technicalefficiency of canola farmers and determine the underpinningfactors. Required data were collected using stratified randomsampling method and questionnaire survey. In this context, 157canola farmers from Tabriz County, Iran, were asked to fill outthe questionnaire in 2012-2013 growing season. The technicalefficiency was evaluated using stochastic frontier approach. Theresults of inputs production elasticity indicated that all inputswere consumed in economic area. In addition, the highest (0.504)and lowest (0.095) elasticity rate was related to water consumptionand education level, respectively. The estimated technical efficiencydemonstrated that the highest and lowest technical efficiencieswere 25 and 95% with an average of 80%. It should be noted thatthe highest efficiency was observed in the farms with the areacovering 3-4 hectares. Furthermore, the estimated inefficiencymodel indicated that education level, training course number,and cultivated area negatively affected the inefficiency. Bycontrast, age of farmer had a positive effect on inefficiency. Asthe results show, educating and training farmers for the optimumuse of inputs as well as improving their knowledge as to promoteagricultural products should be taken into account.
هدف از مطالعه حاضر اندازهگیری کارایی فنی مزارع کلزا در شهرستان تبریز و بررسی عوامل موثر بر آن بود. دادههای مورد نیاز از طریق تکمیل پرسشنامه از کلزاکاران شهرستان تبریز در سال زراعی 93-1392 با استفاده از روش نمونهگیری تصادفی طبقهبندی شده از 157 نمونه تصادفی بدست آمد. کارایی فنی کلزاکاران نیز از طریق رهیافت تابع تولید تصادفی صورت گرفت. نتایج کشش تولید نهادهها بیانگر آن است که تمامی این نهادهها در ناحیه دوم اقتصادی مصرف میشوند. علاوه بر آن، بیشترین (504/0) و کمترین (095/0) کشش تولید به ترتیب مربوط به نهاده آب و سطح تحصیلات است. نتایج مربوط به محاسبه کارایی فنی نیز موید آن است که کمترین و بیشترین میزان آن 25 و 95 درصد با میانگین 80 درصد می باشد. لازم به ذکر است که بیشترین میزان کارایی فنی نیز در مزارع کلزا با سطح زیر کشت 3-4 هکتار مشاهده شده است. همچنین، متغیرهای سطح تحصیلات، تعداد دورههای آموزشی و سطح زیرکشت اثز معنیدار و منفی و سن کشاورز اثر مثبت و معنی داری برعدم کارایی فنی دارد. مطابق یافتههای تحقیق، توصیه میگردد آموزش بیشتر کلزاکاران در خصوص مصرف بهینه نهادهها به همراه ارتقا سطح دانش آنها بیشتر مد نظر دولت قرار گیرد.
