بررسی پایایی و روایی مقیاس قدرت غذا

این پژوهش با هدف بررسی پایایی و روایی مقیاس قدرت غذا (لو، بوترین، دیدی، آنانزیاتو، توماس و همکاران، 2009) در بین دانشجویان ایرانی انجام شد. 701 دانشجو، مقیاس قدرت غذا، خردهمقیاس خوردن بیرونی از پرسشنامۀ رفتار خوردن داچ (فناشتراین، فریجترز، برگرز و دفارس، 1986) و مقیاس مهار (هرمن و پولیوی، 1980) را تکمیل کردند. برای محاسبۀ روایی سازه مقیاس از تحلیل عاملی تأییدی بهره گرفته شد. همچنین برای محاسبۀ روایی همگرا و واگرا، به ترتیب از آزمون همبستگی پیرسون بین مقیاس قدرت غذا با خردهمقیاس خوردن بیرونی و مقیاس مهار استفاده شد. نتایج تحلیل عاملی تأییدی نشان داد مدل کنونی مقیاس قدرت غذا با سه خردهمقیاس و یک نمرۀ کلی با دادهها برازش مناسبی دارد. میزان آلفای کرونباخ برای مقیاس قدرت غذا 88/0 و میزان ضریب بازآزمایی چهارماهه 65/0 بهدست آمد. همچنین همبستگیهای بهدست آمده میان این مقیاس و خردهمقیاس خوردن بیرونی (67/0=r؛ 01/0>P) و مقیاس مهار (24/0=r؛ 01/0>P) نشان از روایی همگرا و واگرای مناسب آن دارد. مقیاس قدرت غذا، مقیاسی مختصر و مفید است که برای ارزیابی تاثیر روانشناختی محیطهای امروزی که سرشار از غذا هستند، ساخته شده است. میتوان از این مقیاس برای مطالعۀ رفتار خوردن و تفاوت بین گرسنگی ناشی از تعادل حیاتی و گرسنگی لذتجویانه استفاده کرد.
The present study aimed at investigating the reliability and validity of the Power of Food Scale (PFS) (Lowe, Butryn, Didie, Annunziato, Thomas et al., 2009) among Iranian students. 701 students, as participants, completed PFS, external eating subscale of Dutch Eating Behavior Questionnaire (DEBQ) (Van Strien, Frijters, Bergers & Defares, 1986) and the Restraint Scale (RS) (Herman & Polivy, 1980). To evaluate validity of the scale construct, confirmatory factor analysis was used. Also, Pearson correlation was used to establish convergent and discriminant validity between PFS and the External Eating subscale of DEBQ, and between PFS and RS. The results of the confirmatory factor analysis showed that the current model of PFS along with three subscales and a total aggregate score fit the data well. PFS Cronbach’s alpha was 0.88 and a four-month test-retest PFS score was 0.65. Also, correlations between PFS and External Eating Subscale of DEBQ (r=0.67 P < 0.01) PFS and RS (r=0.24 P < 0.01) indicated an appropriate convergent and discriminant validity. The Power of Food Scale (PFS) is a brief and useful tool developed to assess the psychological impact of today food-abundant environments. This scale can be used to study eating behavior and also differences between homeostatic and hedonic hunger.
