ملخص المقالة :
در دهه‌های اخیر شهرها به شکلی بی‌برنامه‌ای رشد کرده‌اند و محدوده‌های شهری در مدت کوتاهی به چندین برابر وسعت اولیه خود رسیده و یا توسعه آنها در قطعاتی مجزا، بدون برنامه‌ریزی، جسته و گریخته بوده است باعث الگوی گسترش شهر شده است و به موازات این الگوی گسترش شهری، اراضی کشاورزی پیرامون با تغییر کاربری مواجه شده‌اند. شهر اصفهان هم مانند سایر شهرها در طول دهه‌های اخیر رشدی نامتوازن و به شکلی پراکنده داشته است، بطوریکه این رشد منجر به آثار زیست محیطی مخربی مانند از بین رفتن اراضی کشاورزی مرغوب شده است. یکی از راه‌کارها برای جلوگیری از گسترش شهری، پیوستن شهرهای پیرامونی به کلانشهر است. هدف از این پژوهش در وهله‌ی اول شناسایی مشکلات زیست‌محیطی پیوستن شهرهای پیرامونی به شهر اصفهان و در مرحله بعد ارزیابی اثرات زیست‌محیطی پیوستن شهرهای پیرامونی به شهر اصفهان می‌باشد. روش پژوهش حاضر روش آمیخته بود. بدین منظور با بهره‌گیری از روش تحلیل مضمون برای شناسایی مشکلات زیست‌محیطی و در ادامه برای ارزیابی اثرات پیوستن شهرهای پیرامونی از مدل معادلات ساختاری با استفاده از نرم‌افزار amos استفاده شد. نتایج بدست آمده از این پژوهش نشان داد که آلودگی شامل آلودگی خاک، آب، هوا، آلودگی محیط زیست و .. فضای سبز و چشم انداز شامل تغییر کاربری، حفظ و نگهداری زمین‌های کشاورزی، چشم‌انداز های مناسب ساختمان‌ها و بافت فرسوده از مشکلات زیست‌محیطی می‌باشند که پیوستن شهرهای پیرامونی بیشترین تاثیر را بر زمین‌های کشاورزی و کمترین تاثیر را بر سرانه جمعیت داشت.
