Explaining the optimal model for implementing knowledge management in the Football Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Abstract :
Objective: The purpose of this study was to explain the optimal model for implementing knowledge management in the Football Federation.Methodology: The research method was hybrid-exploratory and its statistical population consisted of two parts. In the qualitative part, after 15 interviews, it reached theoretical saturation. In the quantitative part, according to the number of questionnaire questions, 400 samples were selected in clusters. A questionnaire was collected. The data collection tool in the qualitative section was an interview whose internal validity was confirmed by two professors and the Kappa Cohen method (0.8) was used to confirm the reliability.The collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire in the quantitative part which was confirmed by convergent validity and its reliability was calculated using Cronbach's alpha coefficient (0.899). In the qualitative part, MAXQDA and Mind Mapper software were used for data analysis, and in the quantitative part, SPSS and PLS software were used.Results: the identified categories are; Organizational structure, organizational culture, manpower, leadership and management, technical-specialized and information technology. Also, in terms of prioritizing the indicators from the experts' point of view, the manpower index had the highest average and the technical and specialized index had the lowest average.Conclusion: managers of the Football Federation should implement knowledge management to factors such as manpower in relation to the creation and sharing of knowledge management, development of learner organizational culture, development of technology infrastructure and provide a comprehensive management model in the implementation of knowledge management and knowledge management development.
