Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to investigate the confirmatory factor analysis of Applied metacognition questionnaire in group exercise. The statistical population of the study consisted of all professional athletes in the first group and the national league of group disciplines (football, volleyball, handball, and basketball). The sample included 800 athletes selected by random cluster sampling. The applied metacognition questionnaire in group exercise consisted of 30 items that were graded with a five degree Likert scale (from very low = 1, very much = 5). The results of Factor analysis showed that the quadratic model is consistent with the exploratory factor analysis of the questionnaire for the purpose of separation of questions and adaptation. The reliability obtained using Cronbach's alpha for quadruple factors ranged from 0.51 to 0.73, indicating a good reliability of the tool. The results of confirmatory factor analysis indicated that the four-factor model of metacognitive questionnaire in group exercises, including perceived speed, planning, self-esteem, and awareness with appropriate fitness.
