The aim is the role of media consumption and the function of social media on the social identity of physical education teachers in Khash city.Research method: The current research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-correlation based on structural equation modeling. The statistical population is all the physical education teachers of Khash city, which according to the last inquiry, there are 95 people who are working. The sampling method was non-random. The statistical sample size was selected using Cochran's formula of 76 people. Data collection was done with the Social Identity Questionnaire (Safarinia and Roshan, 2013), Karvanike Social Media Function Questionnaire (2013), Adlipour Media Consumption Questionnaire (2013). To analyze the data, one-sample t-test Correlation and regression coefficients as well as structural equation modeling methods were used with the help of SPSS and PLS Smart statistical software.According to the findings of the research, it was found that there is a significant difference between the observed and hypothetical averages of the variable status of social identity and media function and media consumption of physical education teachers in Khash city. Also, the findings of the research showed that between the role of media consumption and There is a statistically significant difference in the function of social media on the social identity of physical education teachers in Khash city.The results of the research showed all the indicators of the goodness of fit of the model, so the model of the role of media consumption and the function of social media on the social identity of physical education teachers in Khash city had the necessary fit in terms of the fit indicators.
