Monitoring of chlorophyll-A, organic carbon, salinity and water surface temperature off the coast of Sistan and Baluchestan using remote sensing data

Abstract :

Background and Objective The seas and oceans play an important role in climate conditions as well as climate change. In addition, physical and biological phenomena are among the most important factors affecting the chemistry and environment of the sea. Therefore, it is important to know the physical processes that govern the seas and oceans, as well as the correlation between these properties and biological properties. Remote sensing algorithms use a close range of blue, green, yellow, red, and infrared, so monitoring of chlorophyll-A, the phytoplankton pigment of oceanic and coastal waters, can be measured and evaluated using state-of-the-art remote sensing technology.Materials and Methods In this study, the capability of remote sensing methods has been used to investigate the status of coastal water quality characteristics of Sistan and Baluchestan provinces. For this purpose, the status of chlorophyll-A has been used using OC3 bio-optical algorithms in ENVI as well as the predecessors of the Google Earth Engine platform. Google Earth Engine is an open-source spatial analysis platform that enables users to visualize and analyze planetary satellite images. Using this system, various spectral processes can be performed on different surface phenomena with different satellite data. It is also possible to perform calculations on large volumes of data without the need for high-power systems. The salinity parameter of MIRAS's SMOS satellite was used in SNAP software to investigate the parameters of chlorophyll, temperature, and organic carbon using Terra's MODIS satellite images. The time to be studied in the images used and field sampling is May 2020. In order to extract the concentration of chlorophyll-A, bio-optical algorithms based on blue and green bands (OC3) were used in ENVI software. Bio-optical models combine optical measurements of reflection or radiation with biological parameters such as chlorophyll concentration, water quality, and more. Water temperature is one of the most important factors in the life of the sea, so those marine animals can survive and reproduce only in a certain range of water temperatures. Therefore, phytoplankton is very sensitive to changes in water temperature and react to temperature. Water level can determine their frequency and distribution. In this study, the product MIR_OSUDP2 of the SMOS satellite of MIRAS on 3rd of May 2020, for the study area from  https://smos-diss.eo.esa.int/ was used.Results and Discussion The results showed that the amount of chlorophyll-A is higher along the shores and the stations near Joud and the estuary has a higher concentration of chlorophyll-A. The results showed the outputs of two different methods for estimating chlorophyll-A in the study area are similar. Also, according to the results, it is clear that the amount of chlorophyll-A has increased in Chabahar, Konarak, Jude, and Goater stations in recent years. In Chabahar and Konarak regions, this increase has been significant for ten years, and the sudden increase in chlorophyll in recent years in field stations requires more studies to identify the causes and should be considered. The chart below shows the rate of change in chlorophyll-A from 2019 to 2020. According to the results, the amount of organic carbon follows the amount of chlorophyll-A and in areas such as Chabahar and Konarak we see higher levels of organic carbon. Also, the highest increase in temperature in all three periods studied was in Chabahar and Konarak ports, of which human activities are one of the main factors. Also, by examining the ten-year trend, increasing temperature changes can be seen in the ports of Maidan and Jude. The general trend of temperature is decreasing to the east as expected because it is closer to open waters. Seasons when water temperatures are lower, chlorophyll-A levels are higher. Chlorophyll-A map output results by ENVI software and Google Earth Engine platform, chlorophyll-A concentrations were higher in autumn and winter than in spring and summer, high chlorophyll-A-concentrations are common in cold tropical and subtropical seasons. Also, the concentration of chlorophyll-A in the study areas along the coast is higher than the offshore areas, which is related to the chlorophyll-A harvesting algorithm in type 1 waters; In other words, coastal areas have more value than offshore areas due to shallow depth, high turbidity and suspended sediments. Because there is no river discharge in this area, these areas are mostly affected by hydrodynamic processes such as wind direction and sea currents. The lowest chlorophyll-A concentrations were observed in the region from May to September, which was contrary to fluctuations in water surface temperature, which could be due to rising currents. The amount of organic carbon is one of the most important factors for evaluating the performance of aquatic ecosystems, which determines the potential of ecosystems for fishery products; The results of the study of organic carbon showed that the amount of organic carbon as chlorophyll-A in the two seasons of autumn and winter was higher than spring and summer so that the trend of changes in organic carbon also followed the trend of changes in chlorophyll-A. There is a correlation between temperature fluctuations and chlorophyll-A, this correlation indicates the importance of water surface temperature in changes in the growth rate of phytoplankton as one of the climatic factors and has made the most important parameter affecting chlorophyll-A, water surface temperature. According to the obtained results, the trend of temperature changes in the last ten years is increasing and the hottest stations are Chabahar and Konarak stations. In terms of salinity, areas with lower salinity had higher chlorophyll-A levels. Comparison of the data obtained from this study with the above indicates that the range of recorded fluctuations of the quality parameters studied in the natural waters of the region and is consistent with similar studies in the study area by other experts.Conclusion The results of this study show the acceptable accuracy of the results compared to the data of similar researchers in addition to the speed and ease of the method. Therefore, with the help of remote sensing science, timely monitoring of the quality parameters of water areas can prevent major crises and save time and money, problems that may be irreversible if they occur.

پایش میزان کلروفیل آ، کربن آلی ، شوری و دمای سطح آب در سواحل سیستان و بلوچستان با استفاده از داده‌های سنجش از دور

 

 

چکیده:

اهمیت کیفیت آب برای سازمان‌های مختلف ازجمله شیلات ،سازمان‌های زیست‌محیطی ،صنایع شیمیایی لازم و ضروری است. این توجه همه‌جانبه، به دلیل ارتباط تنگاتنگ کیفیت آب با سلامت محیط و کیفیت زندگی است . پارامترهای حائز اهمیت در کیفیت آب شامل دما ،کلروفیل آ ، مواد آلی و  شوری می‌شود. استفاده از علم سنجش از دور در برآورد این پارامترها نسبت به روش‌های میدانی گذشته بسیار کاربردی‌تر است، زیرا که پوشش گسترده و وسیع سطحی تصاویر ماهواره ، انسان را در سنجش این پارامترها بسیار کمک می‌کند که درنتیجه به استدلال‌های دقیق‌تری در سیاست‌گذاری آینده می‌توان دست یافت . در این پژوهش با استفاده از نرم‌افزارهای مانند ENVI و SNAP و همچنین پلت فرم متن‌باز گوگل ارث انجین ویژگی‌های کیفی آب ازجمله میزان کلروفیل آ، کربن آلی ، شوری و دمای سطح آب در سواحل سیستان و بلوچستان موردبررسی قرار گرفت. نتایج نشان از میزان کلروفیل آ بیشتر در بندرها چابهار و کنارک در طی ده سال گذشته و افزایش ایستگاه‌های جود و گواتر در سال‌های اخیر به علت فعالیت‌های انسانی دارد. همچنین روند تغییرات دما در ده سال اخیر افزایشی و گرم‌ترین ایستگاه‌ها ایستگاه‌های چابهار و کنارک هستند روند تغییرات کربن آلی نیز از روند تغییرات کلروفیل آ تبعیت داشت و در فصول پاییز و زمستان این میزان به بیشترین میزان خود می‌رسد. ازلحاظ شوری نیز مناطقی که شوری کمتری را داشتند دارای میزان کلروفیل آ بالاتری بودند.

مقدمه

دریاها و اقیانوس‌ها نقش به سزایی در شرایط آب و هوایی و همچنین تغییرات اقلیم ایفا می‌کنند . علاوه بر این پدیده‌های فیزیکی و زیستی از مهم‌ترین عوامل تأثیرگذار بر شیمی و محیط‌زیست دریا هستند. از همین رو شناخت فرآیندهای فیزیکی حاکم بر دریاها و اقیانوس‌ها و همچنین همبستگی بین این خصوصیات با خصوصیات زیستی از اهمیت بالایی برخوردار است(1).

ساختار قائم آب که مستقیماً تحت تأثیر عواملی نظیر شوری ، چگالی و دما است. با توجه به وسعت منابع آبی در سراسر جهان، اندازه‌گیری‌های میدانی از پارامترهای کیفیت آب بسیار پرهزینه و زمان‌بر اسـت. همچنـین، امکان اندازه‌گیری میدانی در مناطقی که دسترسی به آن‌ها دشوار است امکان‌پذیر نیست. در همین زمینه، فناوری سنجش از دور، بـا ظهـور سنجنده های نوین ماهواره‌ای، امکان نظارت پویا و دقیقی را بر منابع آب فراهم کرده است. فیتوپلانگتون‌های دریـایی اسـاس اکوسیستم‌های اقیانوس هستند، به‌طوری‌که حـدود نیمـی از فعالیت فتوسنتز در سطح کره زمین و تولید بیش از 90 درصـد ماده آلی محلول در آب به فعالیت این موجودات وابسته اسـت.

در سطح جهان فیتوپلانگتون‌ها حداقل دو نقـش اساسـی را ایفا می‌کنند، اول، فیتوپلانگتون‌ها پایه و اساس شبکه غـذایی دریایی محسوب می‌شوند و دوم اینکـه فیتوپلانگتون‌ها در چرخه جهانی کربن نقش دارنـد(2). کلروفیـل- آ به‌عنوان شاخص فراوانی فیتوپلانگتون زیست‌توده آب در نظر گرفتـه می‌شود. یکی از دلایل مهـم سـنجش میـزان کلروفیـل- آ تخمین شدت تولید اولیه دریاهای باز است. در سطح جهان غلظت کلروفیل- آ نقش مهمی را به‌عنوان شاخص کیفی پهنه‌های آبی ایفا می‌کند و از آن‌ها به‌عنوان نماینده‌ای بـرای شناسایی شکوفایی مضر جلبـک نام می‌برند(3). بنابراین، به‌عنوان نماینده‌ای از فیتوپلانگتون بـرای بررسـی شـرایط کیفـی آب و وضــعیت زیست‌شیمیایی اســتفاده می‌شود. غلظــت کلروفیل- آ به‌شدت با فراوانی فیتوپلانگتون آبزی و زیست‌توده مرتبط است. اندازه‌گیری‌های متـداول پارامترهـای کیفـی آب همچـون تخمـین میـزان کلروفیـل- آ و مـواد محلـول در آب نیازمنــد نمونه‌برداری‌های میــدانی، تجزیه‌وتحلیل و اندازه‌گیری‌های آزمایشـگاهی اسـت. ایـن فن‌ها بسـیار هزینه‌بر و زمان‌بر هستند. فن‌های سنجش‌ازدور یـک مشاهده کلی از مناطق مطالعاتی بزرگ را در زمـان واقعـی ارائـه می‌دهند(4). الگوریتم‌های سنجش‌ازدور از محـدوده آبی، سبز، زرد، قرمز و مادون‌قرمز نزدیک استفاده می‌کنند و بنابراین نظارت بر کلروفیل- آ  که رنگ‌دانه فیتوپلانگتون آب‌های اقیانوسی و ساحلی است می‌تواند با استفاده از فناوری نوین سنجش از دور اندازه‌گیری و ارزیابی شود.

در پژوهشی با استفاده از تصاویر ماهواره سنتینل و لندست 8 و همچنین داده‌های میدانی به تخمین میزان کلروفیل آ پرداخته شده است و میزان کلروفیل آ بر اساس الگوریتم‌های بیو اپتیکی  OC2و OC3 تعیین شد(5). همچنین کدورت و غلظت کلروفیل آ در دریای خزر از طریق آنالیز چند زمانه تصاویر ماهواره‌ای مادیس و شبکه‌های عصبی موجکی تخمین زده شد (6). در پژوهشی دیگر، برای نخستین بـار از تصـاویر ماهواره سـنتینل 2بـرای نقشه‌برداری پارامترهای کیفی آب اسـتفاده شد و نتـایج ایـن تحقیق نشان داد کـه داده‌های میـدانی بـا تصـاویر سـنتینل2 همبستگی خوبی در این زمینه دارد (7). در پژهاش های دیگر نیز مانند انچه در ادامه آمده است به این موضوع پرداخته شده است: با اسـتفاده از داده‌های تصحیح اتمسفری شده لندست  8 متغیر زمـانی و مکانی فیتوپلانگتون در دریاچه سیوان را ارزیابی شد (8). عملکرد الگوریتم‌های باندی در بـرآورد غلظـت کلروفیل آ با استفاده از داده‌های لندست 8 و سـنتینل 2 مورد بررسی قرار گرفت(9). عملکرد الگوریتم OC2و OC3 در خلیج بنگال را با استفاده از داده‌های مودیس، لندسـت8 و سنتیل2 بررسی شد، نتایج نشـان داد کـه در فصـل قبـل از موسمی و پس از موسـمی غلظـت کلروفیـل بازیـابی شـده از سنتینل 2 بیش از لندست 8 بوده اسـت (10).  تغییرات پارامترهای کیفی آب ازجمله کلروفیل آ، کدورت، درجه حرارت، عمق آب، غلظت مواد آلی محلول ، رنگ و مواد جامد معلق کل را با استفاده از روش سنجش از دور بررسی شد (11). درنتیجه بر اساس گزارش محققین مقرون به‌صرفه‌ترین روش نظارت، بهبود مدیریتی محیط‌زیست و پیگیری چرخه مواد مغذی موجود در آب استفاده از این روش است که در چهار دهه گذشته مدام به آن رجوع شده است. در این پژوهش نیز از قابلیت روش‌های سنجش از راه دور در بررسی وضعیت ویژگی‌های کیفی آب‌های ساحلی استان سیستان و بلوچستان استفاده‌شده است. بدین منظور برای بررسی وضعیت کلروفیل آ با استفاده از الگوریتم‌های بیو اپتیکی OC3 در ENVI 5.3.1 و همچنین قبلیت های پلت فرم گوگل ارث انجین استفاده‌شده است. گوگل ارث انجین یک پلت فرم تحلیل مکانی و متن‌باز است که کاربران را قادر می‌سازد تصاویر ماهواره‌ای سیاره زمین را تجسم و تجزیه‌وتحلیل کنند. با استفاده از این سامانه می‌توان انواع پردازش‌های طیفی را بر روی پدیدهای مختلف سطح زمین با داده‌های ماهواره‌ای متفاوت انجام داد. همچنین می‌توان بر روی حجم زیادی از داده‌ها بدون نیاز به سامانه‌های پرقدرت، محاسبات را انجام داد. در این پژوهش جهت بررسی پارامتر شوری از ماهواره SMOS سنجندِ MIRAS در نرم‌افزار SNAP استفاده شد، همچنین بررسی پارامترهای کلروفیل، دما و کربن آلی با استفاده از تصاویر ماهواره مادیس سنجندِ Terra صورت گرفت.

در این پژوهش سواحل شمالی دریای عمان برای بررسی انتخاب شدند. سواحل دریای عمان در محدوده جغرافیایی با مختصات 25 درجه و 9 دقیقه تا 27 درجه و 4 دقیقه عرض شمالی و 61 درجه و 34 دقیقه تا 56 درجه و 48 دقیقه طول شرقی از نصف النهار گرینویچ واقع شده ‌است. دریای عمان از سمت غرب توسط تنگه هرمز به خلیج فارس و از سمت شرق و جنوب شرقی به دریای عرب و اقیانوس هند وصل می‌شود. دریای عمان با شكل مثلثی بین كشورهای ایران، عمان و پاكستان قرار دارد. حداكثر طول آن از شمال غرب تا جنوب شرق ٩٥٠ كیلومتر و حداكثر پهنای آن از شمال شرق به جنوب غرب حدود ٣٤٠ كیلومتر است.(Vernant et al., 2004; Grando and McClay, 2006). . منطقه موردمطالعه در این پژوهش سواحل  سیستان و بلوچستان در دریای عمان به طول 300 کیلومتر و 12 ایستگاه (جدول1 و شکل 1) است.

روش کار

برای تعیین ویژگی‌های کیفی آب‌های سواحل سیستان از داده‌های ماهواره‌ای و محیط‌های کاری مختلفی استفاده‌شده است. که در ادامه هر بخش توضیح داده‌شده است:

الف) بخش اول محیط گوگل ارث انجین و پارامترهای کلروفیل-آ، کربن آلی و دمای سطح آب

در این پژوهش از داده‌های سنجنده Terra از ماهواره MODIS استفاده‌شده است.  این مجموعه داده می‌تواند برای مطالعه زیست‌شناسی و هیدرولوژی مناطق ساحلی ، تغییر در تنوع و توزیع جغرافیایی زیستگاه‌های دریایی ساحلی ، شارهای بیوژئوشیمیایی و تأثیر آن‌ها در اقیانوس‌های کره زمین و آب‌وهوا باگذشت زمان و درنهایت تأثیر آب‌وهوا و تنوع محیطی و تغییر در اکوسیستم‌های اقیانوس و تنوع زیستی موردحمایت آن‌ها استفاده شود. رزولوشن این داده‌ها برابر 500 متر است و از سال 2000 تا 2020 در دسترس است. جدول 2 مشخصات باندهایی است که از سنجنده TERRA ماهواره MODIS  در این پژوهش استفاده‌شده است:

داده‌های کلروفیل، دما و کربن آلی سنجندِ MODIS در آب با استفاده از سامانه گوگل ارث انجین استفاده شد و نقشه‌های مربوط به وضعیت کلروفیل آ ، دما و کربن آلی تهیه شدند. روش کار با داده‌های تخصصی سنجنده مادیس در منابع آبی با استفاده از سامانه گوگل ارث انجین بر اساس کد نویسی تحت جاوا انجام شده است. این پروداکت به‌صورت روزانه و با جزییات مکانی ۵۰۰ متری از سال ۲۰۰۰ میلادی تاکنون در دسترس است. در این پژوهش انواع روش‌های پردازش سری های زمانی داده‌ها در گوگل ارث انجین انجام شد و تغییرات مکانی خصوصیات کیفی آب در سواحل سیستان و بلوچستان در طول دوره‌های زمانی مختلف به‌صورت نقشه تهیه ‌شد. این پروداکت الگوریتم غلظت کلروفیل آ نزدیک به سطح را در واحد میلی‌گرم بر مترمکعب به دست می‌آورد، که با استفاده از روابط تجربی و رابطه حاصل از بازتاب‌های سنجش از دور در محدوده آبی به سبز طیف مرئی به دست می‌آید. اجرای این امر به سه باند یا بیش از سه باند سنجنده در محدوده طیفی 440 - 670 نانومتر بستگی دارد. همچنین در این پروداکت غلظت ذرات کربن آلی  برحسب  میلی‌گرم بر مترمکعب با استفاده از یک رابطه تجربی حاصل از اندازه‌گیری‌های درجا از غلظت کربن آلی و نسبت‌های باند آبی به سبز از بازتاب‌های سنجش از دور محاسبه شده است. پشتیبانی از این الگوریتم منوط به در دسترس بودن باندهایی است که در محدوده 443 نانومتر در منطقه آبی و بین 547 تا 565 نانومتر در منطقه سبز قرار دارند و برای تصاویر مادیس از باندهایی در محدوده 443 و 547 نانومتر استفاده می‌کند.

ب) تعیین غلظت کلروفیل آ توسط نرم‌افزار تحت دسکتاب ENVI5.3 

به‌منظور استخراج غلظـت کلروفیـل آ از الگوریتم‌های بیواپتیکی مبتنـی بـر بانـدهای آبـی و سـبز ((OC3 در نرم‌افزار  ENVI استفاده شد. مدل‌های بیو اپتیک اندازه‌گیری‌های نـوری بازتـاب یـا تابش را با پارامترهای بیولوژیکی مانند غلظت کلروفیل، کیفیت آب و سایر موارد به هم پیونـد می‌دهند. در ایـن مطالعـه از بـین الگوریتم‌های بیـو اپتیکـال از الگـوریتم OC3 به‌منظور تخمـین غلظـت کلروفیل- آ، آب‌های سـاحلی اسـتفاده شد. مطالعه­ای در خلیج‌فارس با استفاده از اعمال الگوریتم‌های مختلـف بـر روی لندست- 8 نشان می‌دهد که الگوریتم تجربی  OC3مناسب‌تر از دیگر الگوریتم‌های مورداستفاده اسـت (13) .

در این پژوهش از تصاویر ماهواره مادیس سنجندِ Terra پرداکت MODOCGA v006   از سایتhttps://earthexplorer.usgs.gov/   با مشخصات فنی MODIS/Terra Ocean Reflectance Daily L2G-Lite Global 1 km SIN Grid با ویژگی‌هایی مثل روزانه و یک کیلومتری بودن که به‌عنوان یکی از پرداکت های مختص اقیانوس است، استفاده شد. برای افزایش میزان دقت تعداد 30 تصویر از تاریخ 1می 2020 تا 30 می2020 دانلود و با استفاده از نرم‌افزار ENVI 5.3.1 بر روی تمامی تصاویر تصحیحات هندسی اعمال شد. سپس بروی تک‌تک تصاویر الگوریتم OC3 (فرمول(2)) با استفاده از بخش فرمول نویسی نرم‌افزار  ENVI 5.3.1(ابزار BAND MATH) پیاده‌سازی شد.

در فرمول بالا منظور از عدد 443 همان باند 9 و 488 باند 10 و 551 باند 12 پروداکت مورداستفاده در این پژوهش است. درنهایت از 30 خروجی به‌دست‌آمده میانگین گرفته شد و یک خروجی با واحد میلی‌گرم به مترمکعب mg/m3 حاصل شد. درنهایت خروجی با فرمت .tif)) به نرم‌افزار Arc Gis وارد و سیمبولوژی مناسب بر روی آن اعمال شد.

ج) تعین پارامترهای شوری و دما در نرم‌افزار SNAP

دمای آب یکی از مهم‌ترین عوامل حاکم بر وضعیت زندگی درون دریا است، به‌طوری‌که جانوران دریایی تنها در یک بازه مشخص دمایی می‌توانند زنده بمانند و تولیدمثل کنند.‌ به همین دلیل فیتوپلانگتون‌ها بسیار به تغییرات دمای آب حساس بوده و واکنش نشان می‌دهند و دمای سطح آب می‌تواند تعیین‌کننده فراوانی و پراکنش آن‌ها باشد(Ecosystem Assessment Program, 2009). در این پژوهش پروداکت MIR_OSUDP2 ماهواره SMOS سنجندِ MIRAS در تاریخ 3 می 2020 برای منطقه موردمطالعه از سایت https://smos-diss.eo.esa.int/ دانلود شد. سپس با استفاده از نرم‌افزار SNAP برای تصاویر تصحیحات هندسی اعمال و منطقه موردمطالعه برش زده شد سپس داده‌های SSS که مربوط به شوری آب است، استخراج شد و تبدیل به فرمت .tif))گردید و به نرم‌افزار  ARC GIS وارد و سیمبولوژی مناسب بر روی آن اعمال شد.

نتایج

 بررسی غلظت کلروفیل آ با استفاده از نرم‌افزار ENVI 5.3.1

همان‌طور که در بخش قبل توضیح داده شد میزان کلروفیل آ با استفاده از دو روش به دست آمد شکل(2) خروجی نقشه غلظت کلروفیل آ را با استفاده از الگوریتم بیواپتیکی OC3 و شکل(3) نقشه غلظت کلروفیل آ را با استفاده از خروجی حاصل از محیط گوگل ارث انجین نمایش می‌دهید.

همان‌طور که در شکل 1 مشاهده می‌شود در کنار سواحل میزان کلروفیل آ بیشتر است و ایستگاه‌های کنارک جود و خور میدانی دارای غلظت بالاتری از کلروفیل آ هستند. شکل‌های 2 و 3 مشابهت خروجی‌های حاصل از دو روش متفاوت در تخمین میزان کلروفیل آ در منطقه موردمطالعه را دارد. همچنین با توجه به  شکل3 مشخص است در ایستگاه‌های چابهار، کنارک، جود و گواتر در سال‌های اخیر میزان کلروفیل آ افزایش‌یافته است. در مناطق چابهار و کنارک در طول ده سال این افزایش چشمگیر بوده و افزایش ناگهانی کلروفیل در سال اخیر در ایستگاه‌های جود و خور میدانی نیاز به مطالعات بیشتری جهت شناخت علل این پدیده دارد و باید موردتوجه قرار گیرد.  نمودار زیر(شکل4) میزان تغییرات کلروفیل آ در طی سال 2019 تا 2020 را نشان می‌دهد.

بر اساس نمودار فوق کمترین غلظت کلروفیل مربوط به بهار و تابستان و بیشترین میزان مربوط به پاییز و زمستان می‌شود.

پایش کربن آلی در سواحل سیستان و بلوچستان در محیط GEE

شکل5 تغییرات کربن آلی در سواحل سیستان با استفاده از تصاویر مادیس در محیط گوگل ارث انجین را نشان می‌دهد. با توجه به شکل (4) میزان کربن آلی از میزان کلروفیل آ پیروی می‌کند و در مناطقی مانند چابهار و کنارک میزان کربن آلی بالاتری را شاهد هستیم. همچنین نمودار زیر میزان تغییرات کربن آلی در طی سال 2019 تا 2020 را نشان می‌دهد. همان‌طور که از روند تغییرات کلروفیل آ در شکل(4) انتظار می‌رود در نمودار غلظت کربن آلی (شکل(6)) نیز کمترین غلظت مواد آلی مربوط به بهار و تابستان و بیشترین میزان مربوط به پاییز و زمستان می‌شود.

پایش دمای آب در سواحل سیستان در محیط GEE

با استفاده از سنجندِ TERRA ماهواره MODIS در محیط گوگل ارث انجین شکل7 در رابطه با دمای سطح آب در دوره‌های زمانی مختلف به دست آمد. با توجه به خروجی‌ها بیشترین افزایش دما در تمامی سه دوره موردبررسی در بخش‌های بندر چابهار و کنارک بوده است، که فعالیت‌های انسانی یکی از عوامل اصلی آن است. همچنین با برسی روند ده‌ساله تغییرات افزایشی دما در بندرهای خور میدانی و جود نیز قابل‌مشاهده است. روند کلی دما همان‌گونه که انتظار می‌رود به سمت شرق کاهشی است زیرا به آب‌های آزاد نزدیک‌تر است. شکل8 تغییرات دمایی سطح آب را در سال 2019-2020 نشان می‌دهد. با مقایسه این نمودار و نمودار تغییرات کلروفیل آ به این نتیجه می‌توان رسید که در فصولی که دمای آب کمتر است میزان کلروفیل آ بالاتر بوده است.

نقشه شوری با استفاده از نرم‌افزار تحت دسکتاپ SNAP

داده‌های شوری در مناطق نزدیک به ساحل به دلیل مشکلات خطاهای سنجنده در شناخت عوارض با خطا مواجه بود ولی در مواردی که داده ها موجود بودند، مشخص است در محل‌هایی که میزان کلروفیل آبیشتر است(نواحی ساحلی)، میزان شوری پایین‌تری وجود دارد. درنتیجه بین میزان کلروفیل آ با شوری آب رابطه عکس وجود دارد طوری که مشاهده می‌شد در مناطقی که میزان کلروفیل آ، بالاتر است شوری آب نیز کمتر است.

میزان تغییرات کلروفیل آ، دما و کربن آلی در طول زمان به‌صورت مکانی

شکل10 به‌صورت مکانی میزان تغییرات در طول بازه زمانی پنج‌ساله را نشان می‌دهد، در این شکل هرچه رنگ پیکسل‌ها روشن‌تر می‌شود یعنی تغییرات پارامتر موردبررسی در طول سال(2020-2015) در آن بیشتر و هر چه رنگ پیکسل‌ها تیره‌تر می‌شود نشان از تغییرات کمتر میزان پارامتر موردبررسی در طول سال در آن مکان را دارد. با توجه به شکل10 بیشترین میزان تغییرات در پارامترهای موردبررسی در ایستگاه گواتر بوده است.

بحث و نتیجه گیری

در این مطالعه با استفاده از داده‌های ماهواره‌ای پارامترهای کلروفیل آ، دما ، کربن آلی و شوری در سواحل سیستان موردبررسی قرار گرفت. دریای عمان یکی از مهم‌ترین منابع آب و تأمین‌کننده آبزیان خوراکی در سطح کشور ایران می‌باشند. در این راستا و به‌منظور حفظ سلامت اکوسیستم دریایی، پایش کیفی و کمی فیتوپلانگتون‌ها و عامل تشدیدکننده شکوفایی پلانکتونی در آب‌های ساحلی به‌صورت پیوسته از ضرورت‌های حفظ سلامت این اکوسیستم آبی است.  غلظت کلروفیل آ یکی از مهم‌ترین پارامترهای کیفیت آب محسوب می‌شود (15) و ازجمله مهم‌ترین پارامترهای تأثیرگذار روی تولیدات اولیه، کلروفیل آ (16،17) است. محاسبه میزان این پارمتر مهم در مطالعات روز دنیا جهت سنجش پارامترهای کیفی آب مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است(29، 30 و 31). با توجه به نتایج به‌دست‌آمده از خروجی‌های نقشه‌های کلروفیل آ توسط نرم‌افزارهای تحت دسکتاب ENVI و پلت فرم گوگل ارث انجین، غلظت کلروفیل آ در فصل پاییز و زمستان نسبت به بهار و تابستان بیشتر بوده است، بالا بودن مقدار غلظت کلروفیل آ در فصول سرد آب‌های گرمسیری و نیمه گرمسیری رایج است(18). همچنین غلظت کلروفیل آ در مناطق موردبررسی در امتداد ساحل بیشتر از مناطق دور از ساحل است که این ویژگی در ارتباط با الگوریتم برداشت کلروفیل آ در آب‌های نوع یک است؛ به‌عبارت‌دیگر، مناطق ساحلی به دلیل عمق کم، بالا بودن کدورت و رسوبات معلق نسبت به مناطق دور از ساحل دارای مقدار بیشتری است(20، 19). چون در این منطقه تخلیه رودخانه‌ای وجود ندارد، این مناطق بیشتر تحت تأثیر فرآیندهای هیدرودینامیکی مانند جهت وزش باد و جریان‌های دریایی هستند(13). نتایج حاصل از دو روش یعنی تهیه نقشه کلروفیل آ با استفاده از الگوریتم بیواپتیکی co3 و پلت فرم متن باز گوگل ارث انجین نشان از تشابه نتایج در این دو روش داشت، که بر اساس این نتایج میزان کلروفیل آ بیشتر در بندرها چابهار و کنارک در طی ده سال گذشته و افزایش ایستگاه‌های جود و گواتر در سال‌های اخیر به علت فعالیت‌های انسانی دارد. رشد جمعیت و آلودگی هاي ناشی از تخلیه انواع فاضلاب هاي شهري، صنعتی و کشاورزي، شیرابه محل هاي دفع زباله و همچنین رواناب هاي سطحی باعث گسترش آلودگی میتواند از جمله این عوامل باشد(28).  

حداقل میزان غلظت کلروفیل آ در منطقه مورد مطالعه در ماه می تا سپتامبر مشاهده شد که این تغییرات مخالف نوسانات دمای سطحی آب بود، که می‌تواند به دلیل جریانات بالارونده باشد(21، 19).  میزان کربن آلی از مهم‌ترین عوامل کلیدی برای ارزیابی کارکرد بوم‌سازگان آبی است (22). نتایج حاصل از بررسی میزان کربن آلی نشان داد که مقدار کربن آلی همانند کلروفیل آ در دو فصل پاییز و زمستان بیشتر از بهار و تابستان بود به‌طوری‌که، روند تغییرات کربن آلی نیز از روند تغییرات کلروفیل آ تبعیت داشت(22،23).  بین نوسانات دما و میزان کلروفیل آ همبستگی وجود دارد، این ‌همبستگی ‌نشان­دهنده اهمیت دمای سطح آب در تغییرات میزان رشد فیتوپلانگتون‌ها به‌عنوان یکی از عوامل اقلیمی است(24) و باعث شده است مهم‌ترین پارامتر تأثیرگذار روی کلروفیل آ ، دمای سطحی آب (25) باشد. بر اساس نتایج به‌دست‌آمده روند تغییرات دما در ده سال اخیر افزایشی و گرم‌ترین ایستگاه‌ها ایستگاه‌های چابهار و کنارک هستند . ازلحاظ شوری نیز مناطقی که شوری کمتری را داشتند دارای میزان کلروفیل آ بالاتری بودند. مقایسه داده‌های حاصل از این تحقیق با موارد فوق گویای آن است که دامنه نوسانات ثبت‌شده پارامترهای کیفی موردبررسی در محدوده طبیعی آب‌های منطقه و دارای همخوانی با مطالعات مشابه در منطقه موردمطالعه توسط سایر متخصصین است(12،13،18،19). نتایج این پژوهش نشان‌دهنده دقت قابل‌قبول نتایج حاصل در مقایسه با داده‌های پژوهش‌های مشابه برکنار سرعت و سهولت روش کار است. با توجه به مسائل مطرح شده نياز به پايش و مديريت منابع آبي ازلحاظ كمي و كيفي در طول فصول مختلف و بررسي روند كاهش منابع آبي در كشور بسيار موردنياز بوده و نيز با توجه به وسعت كشور ايران، علم سنجش ازدور كمك بسيار شايان ذكري در بحث منابع آبي كشور خواهد داشت(27). بنابراین می‌توان با کمک گرفتن از علم سنجش از راه دور با پایش به‌موقع پارامترهای کیفی پهنه‌های آبی از ایجاد بحران‌های بزرگ پیشگیری و در هزینه و زمان صرفه‌جویی کرد، مشکلاتی که ممکن است در صورت وقوع برگشت‌ناپذیر باشند. در انتها پیشنهاد می شود از سایر روش ها و تصاویر ماهواره ای حاصل از سایر سنجنده های مرتبط مانند تصاویر هایپریون برای تخمین میزان کلروفیل آ در کنار روش های مورد استفاده در این پژوهش استفاده گردد و نتایج حاصل با یکدیگر مقایسه گردد.

Monitoring of chlorophyll A, organic carbon, salinity and water surface temperature off the coast of Sistan and Baluchestan using remote sensing data

 

Abstract:

The importance of water quality is necessary for various organizations, including fisheries, environmental organizations, and the chemical industry. This comprehensive attention is due to the close relationship between water quality and environmental health and quality of life. Important parameters in water quality include temperature, chlorophyll A, organic matter and salinity. The use of remote sensing science in estimating these parameters is much more practical than past field methods, because the extensive surface coverage of satellite imagery helps humans to measure these parameters, resulting in more accurate arguments in future policy-making. In this study, using software such as ENVI and SNAP as well as Google Earth Engine open source platform, water quality characteristics such as chlorophyll A, organic carbon, salinity and water temperature in the coasts of Sistan and Baluchestan were investigated. The results show that the amount of chlorophyll A is higher in Chabahar and Konarak ports during the last ten years and the increase of Jud and Goater stations in recent years due to human activities. Also, the trend of temperature changes in the last ten years is increasing and the hottest stations are Chabahar and Konarak stations. The trend of changes in organic carbon also followed the trend of chlorophyll A changes and in autumn and winter this rate reaches its maximum. In terms of salinity, areas with lower salinity had higher chlorophyll A levels.

پایش میزان کلروفیل آ، کربن آلی ، شوری و دمای سطح آب در سواحل سیستان و بلوچستان با استفاده از داده‌های سنجش از دور

 

 

چکیده

پیشینه و هدف دریاها و اقیانوس‌ها نقش به سزایی در شرایط آب و هوایی و همچنین تغییرات اقلیم ایفا می‌کنند . علاوه بر این پدیده‌های فیزیکی و زیستی از مهم‌ترین عوامل تأثیرگذار بر شیمی و محیط‌زیست دریا هستند. از همین رو شناخت فرآیندهای فیزیکی حاکم بر دریاها و اقیانوس‌ها و همچنین همبستگی بین این خصوصیات با خصوصیات زیستی از اهمیت بالایی برخوردار است. الگوریتم‌های سنجش‌ازدور از محـدوده آبی، سبز، زرد، قرمز و مادون‌قرمز نزدیک استفاده می‌کنند و بنابراین نظارت بر کلروفیل- آ  که رنگ‌دانه فیتوپلانگتون آب‌های اقیانوسی و ساحلی است می‌تواند با استفاده از فناوری نوین سنجش از دور اندازه‌گیری و ارزیابی شود. 

مواد و روشها در این مطالعه از قابلیت روش‌های سنجش از راه دور در بررسی وضعیت ویژگی‌های کیفی آب‌های ساحلی استان سیستان و بلوچستان استفاده‌شده است. بدین منظور برای بررسی وضعیت کلروفیل آ با استفاده از الگوریتم‌های بیو اپتیکی OC3 در ENVI 5.3.1 و همچنین قبلیت های پلت فرم گوگل ارث انجین استفاده‌شده است. گوگل ارث انجین یک پلت فرم تحلیل مکانی و متن‌باز است که کاربران را قادر می‌سازد تصاویر ماهواره‌ای سیاره زمین را تجسم و تجزیه‌وتحلیل کنند. با استفاده از این سامانه می‌توان انواع پردازش‌های طیفی را بر روی پدیدهای مختلف سطح زمین با داده‌های ماهواره‌ای متفاوت انجام داد. همچنین می‌توان بر روی حجم زیادی از داده‌ها بدون نیاز به سامانه‌های پرقدرت، محاسبات را انجام داد. پارامتر شوری از ماهواره SMOS سنجندِ MIRAS در نرم‌افزار SNAP، بررسی پارامترهای کلروفیل، دما و کربن آلی با استفاده از تصاویر ماهواره مادیس سنجندِ Terra استفاده شد. زمان موردمطالعه در تصاویر مورداستفاده و نمونه‌برداری میدانی اردیبهشت‌ماه سال 1399است. به‌منظور استخراج غلظـت کلروفیـل آ از الگوریتم‌های بیواپتیکی مبتنـی بـر بانـدهای آبـی و سـبز ((OC3 در نرم‌افزار ENVI استفاده شد. مدل‌های بیو اپتیک اندازه‌گیری‌های نـوری بازتـاب یـا تابش را با پارامترهای بیولوژیکی مانند غلظت کلروفیل، کیفیت آب و سایر موارد به هم پیونـد می‌دهند. دمای آب یکی از مهم‌ترین عوامل حاکم بر وضعیت زندگی درون دریا است، به‌طوری‌که جانوران دریایی تنها در یک بازه مشخصی از دمای آب می‌توانند زنده بمانند و تولیدمثل کنند.‌ به همین دلیل فیتوپلانگتون‌ها بسیار به تغییرات دمای آب حساس بوده و واکنش نشان می‌دهند و دمای سطح آب می‌تواند تعیین‌کننده فراوانی و پراکنش آن‌ها باشد. در این پژوهش پروداکت MIR_OSUDP2 ماهواره SMOS سنجندِ MIRAS در تاریخ 3 می 2020 برای منطقه موردمطالعه از سایت https://smos-diss.eo.esa.int/ استفاده شد.

نتايج و بحث نتایج پژوهش نشان داد در کنار سواحل میزان کلروفیل آ بیشتر است و ایستگاه‌های کنارک جود و خور میدانی دارای غلظت بالاتری از کلروفیل آ هستند. شکل‌های 1 و 2 مشابهت خروجی‌های حاصل از دو روش متفاوت در تخمین میزان کلروفیل آ در منطقه موردمطالعه را دارد. همچنین با توجه به شکل2 مشخص است در ایستگاه‌های چابهار، کنارک، جود و گواتر در سال‌های اخیر میزان کلروفیل آ افزایش‌یافته است. در مناطق چابهار و کنارک در طول ده سال این افزایش چشمگیر بوده و افزایش ناگهانی کلروفیل در سال اخیر در ایستگاه‌های جود و خور میدانی نیاز به مطالعات بیشتری جهت شناخت علل دارد و باید موردتوجه قرار گیرد. نمودار زیر میزان تغییرات کلروفیل آ در طی سال 2019 تا 2020 را نشان می‌دهد. با توجه نتایج به دست آمده، میزان کربن آلی از میزان کلروفیل آ پیروی می‌کند و در مناطقی مانند چابهار و کنارک میزان کربن آلی بالاتری را شاهد هستیم. همچنین بیشترین افزایش دما در تمامی سه دوره موردبررسی در بخش‌های بندر چابهار و کنارک بوده است، که فعالیت‌های انسانی یکی از عوامل اصلی آن است. همچنین با برسی روند ده‌ساله تغییرات افزایشی دما در بندرهای خور میدانی و جود نیز قابل‌مشاهده است. روند کلی دما همان‌گونه که انتظار می‌رود به سمت شرق کاهشی است زیرا به آب‌های آزاد نزدیک‌تر است. فصولی که دمای آب کمتر است میزان کلروفیل آ بالاتر بوده است. نتایج خروجی‌های نقشه‌های کلروفیل آ توسط نرم‌افزارهای تحت دسکتاب ENVI و پلت فرم گوگل ارث انجین، غلظت کلروفیل آ در فصل پاییز و زمستان نسبت به بهار و تابستان بیشتر بوده است، بالا بودن مقدار غلظت کلروفیل آ در فصول سرد آب‌های گرمسیری و نیمه گرمسیری رایج است. همچنین غلظت کلروفیل آ در مناطق موردبررسی در امتداد ساحل بیشتر از مناطق دور از ساحل است که این ویژگی در ارتباط با الگوریتم برداشت کلروفیل آ در آب‌های نوع یک است؛ به‌عبارت‌دیگر، مناطق ساحلی به دلیل عمق کم، بالا بودن کدورت و رسوبات معلق نسبت به مناطق دور از ساحل دارای مقدار بیشتری است. چون در این منطقه تخلیه رودخانه‌ای وجود ندارد، این مناطق بیشتر تحت تأثیر فرآیندهای هیدرودینامیکی مانند جهت وزش باد و جریان‌های دریایی هستند. حداقل میزان غلظت کلروفیل آ در منطقه در ماه می تا سپتامبر مشاهده شد که این تغییرات مخالف نوسانات دمای سطحی آب بود، که می‌تواند به دلیل جریانات بالارونده باشد.  میزان کربن آلی از مهم‌ترین عوامل کلیدی برای ارزیابی کارکرد بوم‌سازگان آبی محسوب می‌شود که موجب تعیین توان پتانسیل بوم‌سازگان برای فرآورده‌های شیلاتی می‌شود؛ نتایج حاصل از بررسی میزان کربن آلی نشان داد که مقدار کربن آلی همانند کلروفیل آ در دو فصل پاییز و زمستان بیشتر از بهار و تابستان بود به‌طوری‌که، روند تغییرات کربن آلی نیز از روند تغییرات کلروفیل آ تبعیت داشت.  بین نوسانات دما و میزان کلروفیل آ همبستگی وجود دارد، این ‌همبستگی ‌نشان­دهنده اهمیت دمای سطح آب در تغییرات میزان رشد فیتوپلانگتون‌ها به‌عنوان یکی از عوامل اقلیمی است و باعث شده است مهم‌ترین پارامتر تأثیرگذار روی کلروفیل آ ، دمای سطحی آب باشد. بر اساس نتایج به‌دست‌آمده روند تغییرات دما در ده سال اخیر افزایشی و گرم‌ترین ایستگاه‌ها ایستگاه‌های چابهار و کنارک هستند . ازلحاظ شوری نیز مناطقی که شوری کمتری را داشتند دارای میزان کلروفیل آ بالاتری بودند. مقایسه داده‌های حاصل از این تحقیق با موارد فوق گویای آن است که دامنه نوسانات ثبت‌شده پارامترهای کیفی موردبررسی در محدوده طبیعی آب‌های منطقه و دارای همخوانی با مطالعات مشابه در منطقه موردمطالعه توسط سایر متخصصین است. 

نتیجه­گیری نتایج این پژوهش نشان‌دهنده دقت قابل‌قبول نتایج حاصل در مقایسه با داده‌های پژوهش‌های مشابه برکنار سرعت و سهولت روش کار است. بنابراین می‌توان با کمک گرفتن از علم سنجش از راه دور با پایش به‌موقع پارامترهای کیفی پهنه‌های آبی از ایجاد بحران‌های بزرگ پیشگیری و در هزینه و زمان صرفه‌جویی کرد، مشکلاتی که ممکن است در صورت وقوع برگشت‌ناپذیر باشند.

Monitoring of chlorophyll A, organic carbon, salinity and water surface temperature off the coast of Sistan and Baluchestan using remote sensing data

Abstract

Background and Objective The seas and oceans play an important role in climate conditions as well as climate change. In addition, physical and biological phenomena are among the most important factors affecting the chemistry and environment of the sea. Therefore, it is important to know the physical processes that govern the seas and oceans, as well as the correlation between these properties and biological properties. Remote sensing algorithms use close range of blue, green, yellow, red, and infrared, so monitoring of chlorophyll-A, the phytoplankton pigment of oceanic and coastal waters, can be measured and evaluated using state-of-the-art remote sensing technology. 

Materials and Methods In this study, the capability of remote sensing methods has been used to investigate the status of coastal water quality characteristics of Sistan and Baluchestan province. For this purpose, the status of chlorophyll A has been used using OC3 bio-optical algorithms in ENVI 5.3.1 as well as the predecessors of the Google Earth Engine platform. Google Earth Engine is an open source spatial analysis platform that enables users to visualize and analyze planetary satellite images. Using this system, various spectral processes can be performed on different surface phenomena with different satellite data. It is also possible to perform calculations on large volumes of data without the need for high-power systems. The salinity parameter of MIRAS's SMOS satellite was used in SNAP software to investigate the parameters of chlorophyll, temperature and organic carbon using Terra's Madis satellite images. The time to be studied in the images used and field sampling is May 2020. In order to extract the concentration of chlorophyll A, bio-optical algorithms based on blue and green bands (OC3) were used in ENVI software. Bio-optical models combine optical measurements of reflection or radiation with biological parameters such as chlorophyll concentration, water quality and more. Water temperature is one of the most important factors in the life of the sea, so that marine animals can survive and reproduce only in a certain range of water temperature. Therefore, phytoplankton are very sensitive to changes in water temperature and react to temperature. Water level can determine their frequency and distribution. In this study, the product MIR_OSUDP2 of the SMOS satellite of MIRAS on 3rd of May 2020, for the study area from https://smos-diss.eo.esa.int/ was used.

Results and Discussion The results showed that the amount of chlorophyll A is higher along the shores and the stations near Joud and the estuary have a higher concentration of chlorophyll A. Figures 1 and 2 are similar to the outputs of two different methods for estimating chlorophyll A in the study area. Also, according to Figure 2, it is clear that the amount of chlorophyll A has increased in Chabahar, Konarak, Jude and Goater stations in recent years. In Chabahar and Konarak regions, this increase has been significant during ten years, and the sudden increase in chlorophyll in recent years in field stations requires more studies to identify the causes and should be considered. The chart below shows the rate of change in chlorophyll A during 2019 to 2020. According to the results, the amount of organic carbon follows the amount of chlorophyll A and in areas such as Chabahar and Konarak we see higher levels of organic carbon. Also, the highest increase in temperature in all three periods studied was in Chabahar and Konarak ports, of which human activities are one of the main factors. Also, by examining the ten-year trend, increasing temperature changes can be seen in the ports of Maidan and Jude. The general trend of temperature is decreasing to the east as expected because it is closer to open waters. Seasons when water temperatures are lower, chlorophyll A levels are higher. Chlorophyll A map output results by software under ENVI desktop and Google Earth Engine platform, chlorophyll A concentrations were higher in autumn and winter than spring and summer, high chlorophyll A concentrations are common in cold tropical and subtropical seasons. . Also, the concentration of chlorophyll A in the study areas along the coast is higher than the offshore areas, which is related to the chlorophyll A harvesting algorithm in type 1 waters; In other words, coastal areas have more value than offshore areas due to shallow depth, high turbidity and suspended sediments. Because there is no river discharge in this area, these areas are mostly affected by hydrodynamic processes such as wind direction and sea currents. The lowest chlorophyll A concentrations were observed in the region from May to September, which were contrary to fluctuations in water surface temperature, which could be due to rising currents. The amount of organic carbon is one of the most important factors for evaluating the performance of aquatic ecosystems, which determines the potential of ecosystems for fishery products; The results of the study of organic carbon showed that the amount of organic carbon as chlorophyll A in the two seasons of autumn and winter was higher than spring and summer, so that the trend of changes in organic carbon also followed the trend of changes in chlorophyll A. There is a correlation between temperature fluctuations and chlorophyll A, this ، correlation indicates the importance of water surface temperature in changes in the growth rate of phytoplankton as one of the climatic factors and has made the most important parameter affecting chlorophyll A, water surface temperature. According to the obtained results, the trend of temperature changes in the last ten years is increasing and the hottest stations are Chabahar and Konarak stations. In terms of salinity, areas with lower salinity had higher chlorophyll A levels. Comparison of the data obtained from this study with the above indicates that the range of recorded fluctuations of the quality parameters studied in the natural waters of the region and is consistent with similar studies in the study area by other experts.

Conclusion The results of this study show the acceptable accuracy of the results compared to the data of similar researches in addition to the speed and ease of the method. Therefore, with the help of remote sensing science, timely monitoring of the quality parameters of water areas can prevent major crises and save time and money, problems that may be irreversible if they occur.
