Abstract :
This research examines the techniques of literary adaptation and from this point of view, the influence of the author's knowledge and mastery on the elements of the story, it shows the success rate of translating her literary works into cinema and pictures. This research using analytical-adaptive method and relying on library resources while comparing, Examining and adapting the plot element in the story “I am the killer of your son” From Ahmad Dehghan, In the project of translating this literary text into a movie screenplay, re-examines "The Reward of Silence". The result of the research, according to the textual implications, shows that the coherent plan is well respected in the structure of Dehghan's story writing and the author's familiarity with the element of the plot has presented an outstanding short story in the field of sacred defense literature. Also, the effect of this knowledge and the author's ability is evident in the success of the movie adaptation of "The Reward of Silence" with an acceptable plot. Therefore; This research tries to answer this essential question based on a theoretical and systematic framework to what extent can a literary writer's mastery over the structure and elements of the story play a role in transforming her works into a cinematic text? Also, in order to choose the desired work, screenwriters should seek to know and choose what components in the literary text that guarantee the success of the adapted screenplay?
