The relationship between persistence and learning and study strategies in students: the moderating role of educational level

Abstract :
The purpose of the current research was to explain the relationship between persistence and learning and study strategies in students: the moderating role of educational level. The research is based on the objective, application and descriptive research method of correlation type. The statistical population of the research is elementary and middle school students of Semnan city. Non-probability sampling method is available and 320 people were studied as a sample in this research, out of 320 people, 160 people were selected in primary level and 160 people were selected in secondary level. The tools of data collection were learning and study strategies questionnaires and persistence questionnaires, and validity and reliability were used to check its validity. The method of data analysis was partial least squares and Emos software was used. The result of the research showed that there is a direct relationship between persistence with learning and study strategies and all its components (significant statistic 14/599), but the moderating role of educational level in the relationship between persistence with learning and study strategies in students was not confirmed
