    An easy and cost-effective sol-gel procedure is described for the synthesis and co-modification of mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSNs) with various metal ions and positive-charge inducing polymers including PEI and PEG, for the construction of a reliable gene delivery vehicle. All of the samples (denoted as PEI-MSN, M-MSN, PEI-M-MSN, and PEG-PEI-MSN, where, M= Fe2+, Fe3+, Co2+, Zn2+, Al3+), were unambiguously characterized by conventional techniques including FTIR, XRD, SEM, and BET. The adsorption capacity of siRNA was found to be more related to the zeta potential of the samples than their specific surface areas. The best adsorption result was obtained by using PEI-Fe(III)-MSN (48.8 µg of siRNA per mg of support). The release of siRNA from PEIFe(III)-MSN, was also good (91.5%), but a burst release profile was observed. Interestingly, when a layer of PEG was used as a co-modifier, a sustained release profile was achieved, and meanwhile, the released amount of siRNA was improved (93.2%).     در این پژوهش برای بررسی رابطه بین صفات شخصیتی با خلاقیت با استفاده از روش نمونه گیری تصادفی خوشه ای، 125 نفر از دانش آموزان دختر مقطع پیش دانشگاهی شهر تهران انتخاب شدند. سپس پرسشنامه های شخصیت ان ایی اُ[1]، خلاقیت عابدی را تکمیل کردند. داده های به دست آمده با آزمون های همبستگی پیرسون و تحلیل رگرسیون چند متغیره تحلیل شدند. نتایج نشان داد که وجدانی بودن، گشودگی به تجربه و توافق پذیری با خلاقیت رابطه مستقیم، معنادار و روان رنجور خویی با خلاقیت رابطه معکوس و معنادار دارند. از بین صفات شخصیتی، تنها وجدانی بودن و روان رنجورخویی به طور معنادار توان پیش بینی خلاقیت را دارند. 4.(NEO) Manuscript profile

    Mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSNs) were synthesized hydrothermally and modified with Co2+ and Zn2+. The as-prepared samples were denoted as MSN, Co-MSN(X), and Zn-MSN(X), where X is the Si/M molar ratio. In addition, co-modified MSN samples with both cations were also prepared and denoted as Co-Zn(Y)-MSN(X), where Y indicates the Zn2+ content in the range of 1-7 wt.% relative to Co2+. Correctness of the anticipated structures was approved by FTIR, XRD, SEM, EDX, BET, and XRF analyses. It was found that Co-Zn(7)-MSN(75) can be used as an efficient photocatalyst for discoloration of basic red 5 under very mild conditions. Up to 86% of basic red 5 was discolored after 3.75 h under the optimized conditions including catalyst dosage of 0.025 mg mL-1, pH=7, and irradiation of 4×8 W UV (254 nm) lamps. By using the Langmuir–Hinshelwood kinetics model, it was found that the reaction followed a pseudo-first-order kinetic. Manuscript profile
