Identity, as one of the most important concepts of social sciences of the new era, is influenced by various factors that cultural capital is one of the most important factors in its formation and redefining. This paper seeks to study the effect of social capital indicators on national identity of youth by survey method which has been done by questionnaire with a statistical sample of 390 people among young people in eastern Golestan regions. The findings show that the average of social capital in the studied population is 3 out of 5, indicating that social capital is higher than the average. The results of statistical tests confirm the relationship between national identity and each indicator of social capital. Of course, the correlation between social capital and national, modern and religious dimensions of youth's social identity is moderate and positive, but this relationship with the ethnic dimension of youth's social identity is stronger and more positive. The results of path analysis test also showed that the dimensions of social capital have a direct and significant relationship with the social identity of respondents. Consequently, in order to strengthen national identity, social capital indicators, especially social agency, sense of security and tolerance of diversity should be considered more. مفهوم هویت به عنوان یک مقوله اجتماعی مهم ترین نیازهای روانی انسان و پیش نیاز هرگونه زندگی اجتماعی است که دارای ابعاد و سطوح مختلفی ازجمله ملی، فرهنگی ،اجتماعی،دینی تمدنی و غیره میباشد بعد هویت ملی به دلیل ایجاد انسجام و همبستگی ملی از جایگاه ویژه ای برخوردار است.این پزوهش با هدف مطالعه تاثیر سرمایه اجتماعی برابعاد هویت ملی جوانان شرق استان گلستان با جامعه اماری 280 هزارنفر ی،از جوانان 18تا30 ساله ساکنین شرق استان گلستان ، با استفاده از جدول گرجسی مورگان با حجم نمونه 390 نفر توسط ابزار پرسشنامه و روش پیمایشی مورد مطالعه قرار گرفته است. یافته های پژوهش نشان می دهد میانگین سرمایه اجتماعی در جامعه مورد مطالعه 3 از 5 است که نشان از سرمایه اجتماعی بالاتر از متوسط است .نتایج حاصل از آزمون های آماری نشان می دهد بین سرمایه اجتماعی و ابعاد هویت ملی جوانان رابطه وجود دارد . رابطه سرمایه اجتماعی با ا بعاد "ملی، قومی ،مدرن و دینی "هویت اجتماعی جوانان، متوسط و مثبت است اما رابطه آن با بعد قومی هویت اجتماعی جوانان قوی تر و مثبت تر است.نتایج آزمون تحلیل مسیر نیز نشان داد ،ابعاد سرمایه اجتماعی رابطه مستقیم و معناداری با هویت اجتماعی پاسخگویان دارد. باتوجه به یافته های تحقیق می توان نتیجه گرفت، سرمایه اجتماعی نقش کلیدی در تقویت هویت ملی دارد و از طریق بهبود سرمایه اجتماعی می توان بنیان های هویت ملی جوانان ساکن در مناطق شرق استان گلستان را تقویت نمود.
